Abstract
Abstract Successful tank spawning was accomplished with original striped bass X white bass hybrids. Attempts to tank spawn hybrid males with white bass females were not successful. This is the first time F2's have been produced by tank spawning and demonstrates that successful natural spawning between hybrids can occur. Reasons for unsuccessful backcrossing and problems that might arise from natural hybridization are discussed. Limited discussion on some possible crosses that may occur during natural hybridization are included.
