Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of anxiety of Tanjung Priok residents towards containers in residential areas and how to control anxiety. The present research uses a mixed-method approach by distributing questionnaires to 65 respondents and conducting interviews with 4 residents of Tanjung Priok from different backgrounds. Data analysis techniques used in the quantitative research are descriptive statistics which aim to describe the data, so that researchers have an overview of the data to be used in research. Whereas in qualitative research it is interpreted as an effort to systematically search for and organize records of observations, interviews, and others to increase the researcher's understanding of the cases studied and turn them into findings. The results of this study stated that the anxiety level of Tanjung Priok residents was at the level of severe anxiety. The residents try to reduce their anxiety by increasing their religious patience.
