AbstractProperty, Real Estate & Development (MIC: 8.3 SIC: 798 NAIC: 25930)Tanger Factory Outlet Centers is a fully‐integrated, self‐administered and self‐managed real estate investment trust, focusing exclusively on developing, acquiring, owning, operating and managing factory outlet centers. As of Dec 31 2004, Co. had ownership interests in or management responsibilities for 33 centers with a total gross leasable area of approximately 8.7 million square feet. These centers were approximately 97.0% occupied, contained over 1,900 stores and represented over 400 store brands. Co.'s factory outlet centers and other assets are held by, and all of its operations are conducted by, Tanger Properties Limited Partnership.
