Abstract

In Turkey, the usage of the automatic and semi automatic potato planters has been increasing on potato farming. By using the automatic planters, effective working time (h/ha) decreaases and effective working capacity(ha/h) increases. It is necessary to know the machine management parameters of automatic potato planters by the time of making the farming mechanization plans. It’s tried to determine the machine management parameters of Hassia contains 3 row automatic planters. The tests were carried out by 3.03 km/h and 4.11 km/h speeeds. In the result of the tests, it’s determined the theoretical field time (h/ha) and auxiliary time(h/ha), loss of time (h/ha), effective working time (h/ha), effective working capacity (ha/h) and field efficiencies (%). The increase of working speed from 3.03 km/h to 4.11 km/h, has been increasing the effective working capacity from 0.34 ha/h to 0.44 ha/h and effektive working time has been decreasing from 2.92 h/ha to 2.28 h/ha.
