Abstract
In many cities of the United States a surprising number of agencies are involved in providing occupational adjustment for the entire community. They include public and private schools and colleges; industrial, civic, and social welfare groups; city, state, and federal agencies. With the cooperation of the National Occupational Conference, Occupations presents a general overview of adjustment activities in one of these cities in the hope that the account will provide stimulation for other communities to take stock of all available resources.
