Abstract

Dispersion Engineering The cover artwork depicts infrared light incident on a surface at different angles, which is absorbed. Correspondingly, directional thermal emission occurs with a conical profile at the same angle at which light is incident. The image essentially captures the tunability of infrared thermal emission, particularly its directional (angular) emission profile, which forms a major part of the results presented in article number 2100153 by Ben Johns, Shashwata Chattopadhyay, and Joy Mitra.
