Abstract
Background: The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends multidisciplinary treatment when primary care efforts to treat obesity in adolescents have failed. However, multidisciplinary weight management programs often suffer from poor treatment adherence, high attrition rates, and low reach. Identifying ways to address these issues is important to improving outcomes.
