Tailored design, synthesis, and catalytic aspects of mononuclear cis-dichloro copper(ii) complexes with simple DPA-derived tridentate ligands and their biomimicking activities

Abstract

Two new mononuclear pentacoordinated square pyramidal Cu(ii) complexes with dipicolylamine-based tuned tridentate ligands have been prepared. Under aerobic conditions, o-aminophenol and catechol oxidation activities resulted in high turnover numbers.
