Abstract

<em>Everyone has a different learning style, this can be influenced by abilities, desires, environment, and experiences experienced in everyday life. In reading skills learning there are many learning studies such as methods, strategies, and special learning media that support the reading skills learning process in dealing with the problems and challenges of today's learning, but studies on learning approaches taking into account the learning styles of students in the Arabic education program are still little done, therefore The researcher was motivated to study further about the learning typology of the Arabic education program students in learning Arabic. This study aims to identify the learning styles of students in the Arabic education program, in response to reading skills learning carried out during the online learning process implemented by the government from March 2020 until now at Jambi University. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the learning typology of PBA students in Reading skills learning was divided into several types such as activist, reflector, pragmatic, theoretic learning styles, divergers, assimilators, and accommodators learning styles as well as visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. This study recommends further research that emphasizes the influence of these students' learning styles on their abilities in learning reading. skills.</em>
