Abstract
The Tabanidae collected in the Philippines (Palawan, Balabac, Tawi Tawi and Mindanao) in 1961 by the Danish Noona Dan expedition are reviewed. Chrysops signifer Wlk. and 15 species of Tabanus L. are recorded. Among them T. balabacensis and T. subrubidus, both from Balabac, are described as new. The hitherto unknown female of T. pellus Phil. is described. Nearly all other records are new for the respective islands.
