Abstract

Proposes the inner core as the vehicle for the universal and spiritual self. Limitations and restrictions of the traditional TA paradigm are identified. A historical review of Western culture's search for the spirit is presented. The integration of inner core theory into TA is demonstrated. Concludes that the inner core concept may be used for a synthesis of Eastern and Western beliefs.
