Abstract
In order to attempt Ta compounds as anode electrocatalyst for Polymer electrolyte water electrolysis, the catalytic activities of Ta compound films for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) was investigated. Ta compound films were prepared under several partial pressures of nitrogen and oxygen at several temperatures by reactive sputtering. Although Ta compound films had high overpotential for the OER, the catalytic activities of Ta compounds for the OER were changed by the change of preparation condition.
