Abstract
Natural Orifice Translumenal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES) has been increasingly reported as a scarless approach for various abdominal surgeries. Intra-operative ultrasound is commonly used to identify or localize specific abdominal lesions during standard transabdominal surgery. The feasibility of translumenal Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) via NOTES (NOTES-EUS) for identification of abdominal lesions with a flexible echoendoscope has not been studied.
