Abstract
Complex biliary stones often require temporary stenting to ensure biliary drainage, while allowing for a repeat attempt at stone extraction. To date, covered self-expanding metal stents (CSEMS) have not been formally investigated for this indication. Our aim was to evaluate their efficacy and safety in patients with complex biliary stones.
