Abstract

Obesity has been generally associated with increased surgical risk. But there has not been reported whether obesity have an adverse impact of the short-term complications and technical difficulty of endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) procedure. The aim of this study is to evaluate whether obesity is associated with a greater technical difficulty and short-term complications of ESD for early gastric cancer (EGC).
