Abstract

We submitted to NERIT (Neuromuscolar Emotional Relaxing Treatment Integrated), 20 women, ages 25 to 65, for an average of one year. The women in this study suffer from depression disorder and they have any relationship difficulties. 40 female subjects were submitted, before the call up to the study, to a Psycodiagnostic estimate through the HAMILTON D which showed a point between 9 and 17 (level 2). Afterwards, the study group, was submitted to NERIT, every week, for one year. A check group, instead, containing the same number of people, attended focus psychotherapy. At the end, both the study group and the check group, were submitted to another estimate. One of the most interesting results emerging from the study is the fact that, in the group of patients followed with the NERIT, a marked decrease was observed in the number of subjects submitted to HAM-D and a larger number of subjects which, at the end of the treatment, achieved sub-complete remission of the Inhibited sexual desire (ISD). and even of the depressive symptomatology. The points, obtained comparing the first HAM-D with the last one, have shown a decrease into (level 1), while In the check group, into (levels 1-2). Therefore the result has been achieved significantly better for the patients submitted to NERIT. On the basis of the results, we can assert that in the study group, submitted to NERIT, decrease Inhibited sexual desire (ISD) and related depression disorder, valued through the HAM-D scale, while life quality, is improved significantly.
