Abstract
T follicular helper (Tfh) cells are a novel subset of CD4+ T cells that provide helper functions to B cells in humoral immune response. They may migrate into germinal center (GC) to stimulate B cells to produce antibodies under the effect of some molecules expressed by themselves, such as CXC chemokine receptor 5 (CXCR5),inducible T-cell co-stimulator (ICOS),B cell lymphoma-6 (bcl-6),interleukin (IL)-21,and so on.Currently,Tfh cells are considered to be the major cell helping B cells.Recent studies have shownthat Tfh cells are of great significance to the development, treatment and prognosis of some skin disorders.
