Abstract
AbstractAntigen‐specific high zone unresponsiveness to two thymus‐dependent antigens, TNP560KLH (2,4,6trinitrophenylkeyhole) limpet hemocyanin and TNP6FGG (2,4,6trinitrophenylfowl IgG), was induced in vitro. It was found that carrier recognition was required for its production, and that unresponsiveness was present at the level of B cells.Thymus‐derived cells were required to induce the unresponsive state in B cells.
