Abstract
Memory B cells (MBCs) expressing the transcription factor T-bet have been described in normal and dysregulated immune responses. In this issue of Immunity, Johnson etal. report that T-bet+ MBCs, formed in response to a primary influenza infection, contribute to protective antibody titers and persist mainly in the spleen with restricted trafficking between tissues.
