Abstract

The T=2 states in 16O are calculated as two-particle, two-hole excitations using various finite range forces. In addition to well-behaved forces a hard-core potential is considered. The comparison with experiment shows that the best agreement is obtained with a Yukawa-Rosenfeld force.
