Abstract

The Leibnizian concept ofhappiness on the road is presented in Jacques Maritain’s personalistic interpretation. On the basis of it, an analysis of blessed Natalia Tułasiewicz’s experience of the world is carried out, contained primarily in her diary entries. All her life shows an inseparable weave of moral improvement towards holiness and achieving happiness on the road, when the road is directed towards the ultimate goal. It does not have to lead through strict asceticism, but throughthe everyday effort of self-improvement and formation of those under her care – children, youth and adults.
