Abstract

System identification with lost information packets has been studied for cruise control model benchmark problem. The paper investigates a simulation of linear system identification while using wireless links as a signal transfer medium. This paper looks into both periodic and random loss of packets that consist of corresponding input and output data, in order to identify the underlying function of the system. Through the simulation study, ARMAX (autoregressive moving average exogenous) model showed promising results for identifying the system.
