Abstract
In this paper we present methodologies for Hardware/Software Codesign within the product development process. We cover horizontal development phases, design decisions and consulting services. The management stages are approached through the application of structured systemic methodologies while in the engineering requirements, system specification, system certification, system partitioning and system integration we used Case Tools, Statecharts, Standardized SDL, Cosimulation and Petri-Nets. This Codesign management is based on the development process style, human coaching, and support tools but it was important to examine the problems occurred in codesign project management. Finally, guide lines for an improved codesign project management were given to increase productivity in several application areas.
