Abstract

Based on the theory of complex Regge poles, we suggest a simple systematics for vector and tensor-meson exchange amplitudes. Our amplitudes give a detailed, quantitative description of high energy cross-section and polarization data for charge and hypercharge exchange reactions. The presence of ghost-eliminating zeoes distinguishes the tensor from the vector exchange. SU 3 constraints are applied and the amplitudes found are approximately exchange degenerate at t = 0.
