Abstract
Recent study of velocity dependence of channeling stopping-power oscillations with respect to projectile atomic number ${Z}_{1}$ has been extended to heavier ions. It is found that the shifting of positions of maxima and minima accompanied by the gradual merger of consecutive peaks reflecting the energy dependence of phase shifts and bound states continues. The need for an experimental test of these predictions has been emphasized.
