Abstract
Some (1+1) dimensional soliton equations covariant with respect to the Darboux transformation are derived systematically from the gl(2, C ) linear system, which include the dark type nonlinear Schrodinger equation, the sinh -Gordon equation, the noncompact Heisenberg equation, the Harry-Dym equation, the integrable coupled dispersionless equations and new soliton equations.
