Abstract

New optical characteristics of a laser cavity equipped with a multilobe mirror consisting of many tilted planes are under consideration. New models based on examination of binomial and trinomial distributions are proposed to describe light ray propagation in this cavity. New experimental results of spatial coherence control and a possibility of temporal coherence control of laser radiation are shown, too.
