Abstract

Chili pepper is an important commodity with 34.4% of its production in Indonesia coming from the province of East Java. However, the productivity of chili pepper is still below the national average, even with the largest harvested area. This study aims to find alternative solutions using a system dynamics approach to increase the productivity of chili pepper. The scenario results show that the application of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) will increase the average productivity by 16.41%.
