Abstract
The precondition for both reasonable use of facilities and scientific passenger flow organization scheme of rail passenger station is mastering the distribution characteristics of passenger flow. Through the analysis of railway passenger station’s passenger distribution service network structure, taking railway passenger station as mutual integration of passenger, facilities, environment, and management, the passenger distribution system dynamic model with double-level structure has been proposed and established. Considering macroscopic properties including the traffic mode, facility capacity, and microscopic properties including passenger speed and route choice, a passenger distribution model based on the system dynamics has been presented. The proposed model can express the passenger distribution process interdependency clearly and adapt to different layout and operational characteristic of railway station. The proposed model has been applied in a multi-terminal railway station using the real data and produces some useful results.
