Abstract

In order to improve the automation level of data acquisition in various environmental monitoring, a kind of wireless sensor network node had been designed, which can collect some kinds of information in the field depending on various sensors carried. The hardware design of sensor network node based on the MSP430F1611: ultra-low power MCU was introduced, the application system includes: wireless transceiver chip CC2420 and access circuit of external sensors. MSP430F1611 controls the collection procedure for data acquisition by some sensors, which involve: temperature, humidity and light intensity of the environment, etc. After data pretreatment, the data will be sent by the wireless transmitter module to the adjacent nodes, forwarded one by one to the server eventually, the real time environmental monitoring is achieved.
