Abstract

Abstract The authors present a computer model of the non-equilibrium peritectic transformation in the multi-component alloys Fe-C-∑Xi for the system analysis of phase transformations. The course of the process describes mesoscale equations of heat transfer, phase releasing, and diffusional redistribution of components under the coalescence of a dendritic structure. The simulation results for the rate of formation of the austenitic phase are compared to the literature data.
