Abstract
I gave a rather comprehensive review of Systat 11 for the February 2005 issue of The American Statistician. Systat 12 was released February 21, 2007, and provides users with a number of enhancements. Since Systat is one of the oldest and most rep utable software applications on the market, I believe it justified to provide TAS readers with an overview of its most recent re lease. In fact, the most recent update is an incremental patch, as it is termed by the company, for version 12, released on January 9, 2008. The current version of the software as of this review is therefore version 12.2.
