AbstractRetail ‐ Food & Beverage (MIC: 5.3 SIC: 5141 NAIC: 424410)Sysco is engaged in the marketing and distribution of food and related products to the foodservice or ‘food‐prepared‐away‐from‐home’ industry. These services are performed for approximately 391,000 customers, including restaurants, healthcare and educational facilities, lodging establishments and other foodservice customers. Co.'s Breadline segment distributes a line of food products and non‐food products to both traditional and chain restaurant customers. Co.'s SYGMA segment distributes a line of food products and non‐food products to certain chain restaurant customer locations. The Other segment includes Co.'s specialty produce, custom‐cut meat and lodging industry products segments.
