Abstract

The Canton “El Carmen”, called the Golden Gate of Manabí, is located in the coastal region of Ecuador in an extensive plain crossed by the Suma River, in the foothills of the Western Mountain Range of the Andes, at an altitude of 236 meters above sea level.
