Abstract

Syringocystadenoma papilliferum (SCAP) is an uncommon benign adnexal tumor, most commonly involving the head-and-neck region. It usually occurs singly or may be seen in association with other tumors. The association of tubular apocrine adenoma (TAA) with SCAP in the background of nevus sebaceous (NS) on the scalp is well documented. However, the coexistence of these two tumors without pre-existing NS is uncommon. We report a case of blaschkoid SCAP associated with TAA over the right pinna and adjacent scalp without pre-existing NS in a young male patient.
