Abstract

Minor dermatologic operations are commonly performed with local anesthesia, especially infiltrative anesthesia with lidocaine. However, it is easy to injure the hand when opening the lidocaine glass ampoule without the help of an effective tool, which frequently occurs in the clinical practice.1
