Abstract
Abstractmagnified imageTwo 2H‐chromenes having a fully substituted benzene ring, 8‐chlorocannabiorcichromene (1) and mycochromenic acid (2), were synthesized by a condensation of salicylaldehydes with isopropylidenemalonate or the thermal cyclization of corresponding propargyl ethers.
