Abstract

The important intermediates for the syntheses of dynemicin A model compounds were prepared by coupling between aryltin compounds and α-bromoenone derivatives in the presence of palladium catalyst. The products were transformed under acidic conditions to substituted quinoline derivatives which contained all the carbon atoms except for the acetylenic group in E ring of dynemicin A.
