Abstract

The two-dimensional (2D) porous materials have attracted a lot of attention in the field of catalysis, owing to their porous structures and attractive characteristics. As a kind of highly efficient catalysts, the 2D porous materials possess many distinct advantages, such as the large surface area, abundant catalytic sites, accelerated kinetic mass transfer process, minimized diffusion barrier and the adaptation of volume change. Here, the current progresses of 2D porous catalysts are summarized. The review mainly covers two parts, the first part is the synthetic strategies of 2D porous catalytic materials, secondly, synergistic porous catalysts are introduced, which are explained with the synergistic mechanism between the porous materials. Finally, the current challenges and future directions are concluded. This review provides advantages, synthetic strategies and further exploration of 2D porous materials toward catalysts.
