Abstract
In the present work, a series of new dispersed mono azo dyes (3) were synthesized through conventional diazo-coupling reaction between 4-hydroxy-phenylacetamide with pyrazole derivatives at low temperature. All the synthesized mono azo compounds were characterized by various spectroscopic methods like IR, NMR, electronic spectral, LC-MS, and fluorescence spectral studies. The experimental IR data was compared with that of the theoretical data and it has been observed that, the experimental IR spectral values are found to be lower than that of the theoretical values. The quantum chemical calculations were also carried out to understand the chemical reactivity of the compounds by using B3LYP method in conjugation with 6-311++G (d, p) basis set. The compounds were screened for anti-tuberculosis properties against M. tuberculosis and the compound 7 was found to exhibit a significant inhibitory effect with MIC value of 12.5μg/mL. The anti-microbial studies were carried for synthesized mono azo compounds. Further, the in silico molecular docking study was carried out to know the significant interaction of the synthesized compounds against VEGFR2 target protein.
