Abstract

Compositions of ceramic masses for the production of wollastonite-containing ceramics with the use of calciumcontaining lime production waste have been developed. The prototypes were synthesized on the basis of waste in the form of cyclone dust formed during the production of lime and chalk. The conditions and the possibility of using calcium-containing waste to produce wollastonite-containing ceramics are determined, their influence on sintering and phase formation processes is established, the possibility of forming the required crystalline phase at lower firing temperatures is shown, physico-chemical characteristics are determined, the relationship between the indicators of physico-technical and thermophysical properties and the firing temperature is established. The research results can be used for the production of ceramic products based on wollastonite using natural and man-made raw materials.
