Abstract
With this ring, I thee synthesize: An efficient synthetic approach to the tetracyclic core (ABCD rings) of (±)-nakadomarin A has been developed. The synthesis features an intermolecular azomethine ylide-alkene [1,3]-dipolar [3+2] cycloaddition and an intramolecular heteroaryl Heck reaction as the key transformations.
