Abstract
In this study new antioxidant compounds were prepared by (thiol-ene) click chemistry, where these compounds were prepared using (1:1) mole ratio of (thiol : eugenol) in the presence of benzoyl peroxide as initiator and the reaction is carried out at (100 0C) for (9) hrs. 
 (FT-IR), (1HNMR), and mass spectroscopy were used to characterize the synthesized compounds. They were evaluated as antioxidants by adding compounds to base oil and lubricant oil, where they showed high antioxidant activity against lubricant oil oxidation processes.
