Abstract

To obtain nanoscaled, narrow particle distribution and advanced properties Tb3+ doped strontium molybdate, the strategy of SiO2 modified was performed by facile solvothermal approach. The morphology, structural functional groups information and luminescence properties of prepared SrMoO4: Tb3+/SiO2(SMO: Tb3+/SiO2) were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, SEM, EDS, UV–visible technologies. The results indicated that the composites presented nanometer particle sizes, narrow particle distribution and enhanced luminescence, compared with unmodified samples. Based on the as-prepared composite, the versatile assay of inorganic ions, 4-Nitrophenol (4-NP) and tyrosine (Tyr) were accomplished. The detection limits were 5.88, 4.70, 3.96 and 4.94 μM, respectively. This new inorganic sensor may pave a new way for small molecule monitoring.
