Abstract

In order to ensure robustness, besides the theory of adaptive and robust control, the building of sliding mode control (SMC) laws is widely used in modern control science. Therewith, the opportunities of the theories of adaptive and robust control, fuzzy system theories, and artificial neural network theories do not solve the problems that present during SMC synthesis, since there are significant difficulties in the vector synthesis and analysis of stability a system with SMC. This paper presents the method of synthesis of the SMC of synchronous generator (SG) basing on sequential aggregate of invariant manifolds of the Analytical Design of Aggregated Regulators (ADAR) method of the synergetic control theory. This method allows performing the synthesis of robust control law, jointly solving the classic subtasks of the SMC synthesis for a nonlinear object and also simplifies the procedure for analyzing the stability of a closed system.
