Abstract
Some new spiro β-Lactam and thiazolidinone derivatives were prepared from the reaction of 5 with different aromatic amine to give Schiff bases 6a-c followed by cycloaddition reaction with chloroacetyl chloride and/or mercaptoacetic acid to give spiro β-Lactam derivatives 7a-c and spiro thiazolidinone 8a-c. Also Isolated β-Lactam 11a-c and Isolated thiazolidinone were prepared by the reaction of Schiff bases 10a-c with chloroacetyl chloride and/or mercaptoacetic acid, pyrazolo 14,10a-c.
