Abstract
An enzymatic method of preparing [ ribose(NMN)- 14C]NAD from d-[ 14C]glucose has been extensively improved. The new method, which employs seven partially purified enzymes, yields the labeled NAD with specific activity as high as 43 Ci/mol at the efficiency of overall conversion of 31%.
