Abstract
16-Electron half-sandwich rhodium complexes containing carborane ligands of two different σ- and π- types 3,3-μ-(1′,2′-C2B10H10-1′,2′-S2-)-4-L-3,1,2-RhC2B9H10 (L = SMe2, NMe3, NMe2CH2Ph) were synthesized for the first time. The solid state structures of 3-(COD)-4-PhCH2Me2N-3,1,2-RhC2B9H10 and 3,3-μ-(1′,2′-C2B10H10-1′,2′-S2-)-4-Me3N-3,1,2-RhC2B9H10 were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction.
