It is the purpose of this communication to report the general .effects of the secretions from the pituitary, adrenal, and pancreas on fatty acid synthesis, and to demonstrate the influence of purified growth hormone, 17-hydroxy-ll-dehydrocorticosterone, and insulin upon these biosynthetic processes
