Abstract
AbstractThe synthesis of a novel pyrrolo[2,1‐c][1,4]benzoxazepine ring system (II) by a nucleophilic aromatic fluoride displacement‐cyclization is described. Aminoalkyl derivatives were prepared by either the Mannich reaction, or Vilsmeier formylation to provide the 3‐formyl derivative which was further elaborated.
